#26 Correspondence between the 248:248 divisions in ten Trees of Life, the inner
Tree of Life, the five Platonic solids & the disdyakis triacontahedron

 (248+248) in four sacred geometries

When the 124 triangles in 10 overlapping Trees of Life are turned into tetractyses, there are 248 red yods up to Chesed of the fifth Tree (31st SL) and 248 blue yods up to (but not including) Chesed of the tenth Tree (61st SL). EL, the Godname of Chesed with number value 31, prescribes the 248:248 division of yods, 61 being the 31st odd integer. As each Tree represents a Sephirah, the 5:5 division of Sephiroth belonging to the Upper & Lower Faces of the Tree of Life splits the 496 yods into two sets of 248. See also here.

Each set of seven separate polygons in the inner Tree of Life has 240 hexagonal yods surrounding their seven centres. There are two hexagonal yods on the root edge separating the two sets of polygons. One hexagonal yod can be associated with each set. 248 hexagonal yods & centres are associated with each set of polygons. The mirror symmetry of both halves of the inner Tree of Life splits the 496 yods into two sets of 248.

When the faces of the five Platonic solids are divided into their sectors and their face-centres and vertices joined to the centre of each solid, on average each half of them contains 248 points (other than vertices), lines & triangles that surround their axes (see here).

The 60 vertices that surround an axis passing through two diametrically opposite A vertices of the disdyakis triacontahedron are corners of seven polygons perpendicular to this axis. Eight sides (shown as black lines) of the second & third polygons in each half of the polyhedron are not its edges. There are 248 corners, sides & triangular sectors of polygons or faces in each half of the disdyakis triacontahedron. Its mirror symmetry divides the 496 geometrical elements making up the seven polygons and faces of the disdyakis triacontahedron into two sets of 248.
