Supporting evidence for the holistic nature of ten octaves is the fact that the sum of the 20 integers in the Tetrahedral Lambda is 350. This is the number of notes & intervals above the lowest note in ten octaves. It is also the number of corners intrinsic to the 70 polygons enfolded in ten Trees of Life. The expression (35N+1) for the number of notes & intervals in N octaves is exactly the same as the expression for the number of corners of the 7N polygons enfolded in N overlapping Trees of Life, the number "1" referring to either the unit interval between the Nth octave and itself or to the topmost corner of the hexagon enfolded in the Nth Tree of Life, which is not intrinsic to these polygons because it coincides with the bottom corner of the hexagon enfolded in the (N+1)th Tree. We see that the intervals between the notes have a sacred geometrical basis and that ten octaves corresponding to ten Trees have an archetypal character. This is the musical meaning of the Tetrahedral Lambda, whose first face generates the notes of the Pythagorean musical scale.
