#27 The inner Tree of life counterpart of the 24:168 division of lines & broken lines in each half of the table of 64 hexagrams

(192+192) geometrical elements in (7+7) separate polygons

24 corners, sides & triangles in the hexagon surround its centre

24 corners, sides & triangles in the hexagon surround its centre

168 corners, sides & triangles in the 6 other polygons surround their centres

168 corners, sides & triangles in the 6 other polygons surround their centres

The counterparts in each half of the inner Tree of Life of the 24 lines/broken lines in the eight diagonal trigrams and the 168 lines/broken lines in the 24 off-diagonal hexagrams in each half of the 8×8 array of hexagrams are the 24 corners, sides & triangles surrounding the centre of the hexagon and the 168 corners, sides & triangles that surround the centres of the six other polygons. The two mirror image halves of the inner Tree of Life correspond to the two diagonal halves of the square array of hexagrams and to the two halves of the disdyakis triacontahedron ("halves" here means half its central plane and the rest of the polyhedron either above or below it).

The counterpart of the division:

24 = 3 + 21

found in the first (6+6) enfolded polygons of the inner Tree of Life, the I Ching table and the Sri Yantra are three corners of the hexagon that form an equilateral triangle and the 21 other geometrical elements in the hexagon that surround its centre. See discussion of this division here under the heading "24 = 3 + 21".
