#37  The pentagram embodies the gematria number value 280 of Sandalphon

280 = Pentagram embodies the number 280 of Sandalphon

The eighth triangular number is

1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 5 + 6 + 7 + 8 = 36.

This is the number value of ELOHA, the Godname of Geburah. It can be regarded as a triangular array of 36 dots, with eight dots regularly spaced along each side of the array. Consider a pentagram with its five triangular points and the five sectors of the pentagon at its core turned into triangular arrays of 36 dots. There are

1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 5 + 6 + 7 = 28

dots in each star point outside its base (side of pentagon) and 28 independent dots per sector, excluding the white central dot shared by all sectors. Therefore,

5(28+28) = 140 + 140 = 280

dots surround the centre of the pentagram. The number 140 is the number value of Masloth, the Mundane Chakra of Chokmah, and the number value of Malachim, the Order of Angels assigned to Tiphareth. When its 10 triangles are turned into representations of the eighth triangular number, the pentagram embodies the number value of Sandalphon (סנדלפון), the Archangel associated with Malkuth. The same type of star is part of the geometrical representation of ADONAI MELEKH, which is the complete Godname of Malkuth:

Representation of 155

Notice how the values of its seven Hebrew letters are the numbers of yods of various types making up the tetractyses and the corners of the enclosing square. These numbers are more fundamental than the letters themselves, for it is the system of gematria which reveals the profound connection between the Pythagorean, geometrical representation of the biblical divine names and the sacred ancient Hebrew alphabet. Whilst the sceptic may argue that the yods have been grouped into complete classes whose numbers match the letter values of ADONAI MELEKH, he misses the point, namely, how could this be possible at all unless divine names like this have a geometrical basis that transcends their historical origin? It would be trivial to divide 155 yods into groups whose populations match all the letter values. However, it is highly significant to be able to achieve this by finding seven groups where all the yods in each one are of the same type, their numbers corresponding to the gematria number values of the seven letters in the Godname of Malkuth. This non-trivial property indicates design, for it is implausible that such exact matchings might be due to chance.
