#13 The seven enfolded Type B polygons embody the gematria number value of EHYEH ASHER EHYEH

The 14 enfolded Type B polygons of the inner Tree of Life have 1370 yods (see here). Their 94 sectors comprise (3×94 = 282) tetractyses, each with a hexagonal yod at its centre. 282 is the number value of Aralim, the Order of Angels assigned to Binah (see here). Therefore, (1370 – 282 = 1088) yods line the sides of the 282 tetractyses. Three of these (the corner of the triangle outside the root edge and the top and bottom corners of the hexagon) coincide with the three Sephiroth on both the Pillar of Mercy and the Pillar of Severity (the diagram shows no yods for these points in the case of the former). The 14 polygons contain (1088 – 3 – 3 = 1082) yods that are not shared with the outer Tree of Life and which, therefore, are intrinsic to its inner form. 1082 is the 1081st integer after 1, where 1081 is the number value of Tiphareth ("beauty"). Starting from the endpoint of the root edge located at Daath, 1081 more yods other than those coinciding with Sephiroth are needed to delineate the 282 tetractyses that make up the inner form of the Tree of Life.

The number of yods lining sides of tetractyses outside the root edge with four yods = 1088 – 4 = 1084. The number of such yods in each set of seven polygons = 1084/2 = 542. Therefore, (542 – 3 = 539) yods lining the 141 tetractyses outside the root edge are intrinsic to each set of polygons. Remarkably, 539 is the sum of the Godname numbers of the seven Sephiroth of Construction:

539 = 31 + 36 + 76 + 129 + 153 + 49 + 65.

Including the four yods on the root edge, the number of yods intrinsic to the seven Type B polygons that line their 141 tetractyses = 4 + 539 = 543. This is the number value of EHYEH ASHER EHYEH ("I am that I am"), the complete Godname of Kether. It demonstrates very powerfully the mathematical meaning of this Divine Name as the number of intrinsic yods required to create the form of the inner Tree of Life in terms of the boundaries of the 47 Type A sectors of its seven enfolded polygons.

Alternatively, because there are 542 yods outside the root edge lining sides of the 141 tetractyses in each set of seven enfolded polygons and as two yods on the root edge are associated with each set, 544 yods lining sides of tetractyses are associated with either one. For a set of overlapping Trees of Life, each with their set of 14 enfolded polygons, the topmost corner of a hexagon enfolded in any given Tree of Life coincides with the lowest corner of the hexagon enfolded in the next higher Tree. This means that 543 yods on the sides of 141 tetractyses are associated with (and belong exclusively to) each set of seven enfolded Type B polygons.

This demonstration of a geometrical basis for the Divine Name EHYEH ASHER EHYEH exemplifies the amazing intelligence embodied in the mathematical archetypes of the Kabbalistic Names of God.
