#10 The Type B heptagon embodies the Cosmic Tree of Life

 Heptagon encodes CTOL

The Cosmic Tree of Life maps the seven cosmic planes of consciousness. Its 91 Trees and 550 SLs are encoded in 12 of the 14 polygons in the inner Tree of Life, as discussed here. The Type B heptagon has 91 hexagonal yods. Given that there are seven cosmic planes, it is appropriate that this polygon should embody their number of subplanes.

The 550 SLs of CTOL correspond to the 550 yods in 12 of the 14 separate polygons separated by the root edge. The 91 Trees of Life correspond to their corners, the two endpoints of the root edge being formally regarded as corners from a mathematical point of view. One endpoint can be associated with one set of polygons and the other can be associated with the other set. The 49 corners associated with the set of seven polygons are the counterpart of the 49 red hexagonal yods on sides of sectors and at centres of tetractyses. They symbolize the 49 Trees of Life that map the 49 subplanes of the cosmic physical plane. The 42 corners associated with the set of five polygons are the counterpart of the 42 blue hexagonal yods on internal sides of tetractyses. They symbolize the 42 Trees of Life that map the 42 subplanes of the six cosmic superphysical planes.

The heptagon expresses the fundamental, seven-fold nature of holistic systems that is a manifestation of the seven Sephiroth of Construction. It encodes both the spiritual macrocosm (CTOL) and the Malkuth aspect of its human manifestation — the human skeleton.
